FID donates $5,000

Fashion in Detroit happily donated a check for $5,000 to Danialle Karmanos and her “Work it out” program otherwise known as DKWIO. It has been said by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, close to 20 percent of American children between the ages of 6 and 19, are clinically obese.  DKWIO is dedicated to providing “at-risk” children and their families the tools and resources to fight this terrible disease. With this focus, Danialle’s program can help reduce anxiety this disease can cause and teaches the families and children how to foster, manage and conserve optimum health in mind, body, and spirit.

Fellow Glamorous Mom, Danialle Karmanos, took time away from her two lovely twins to make a guest appearance at Fashion in Detroit for her worthy cause, a great example of  an amazing mom making an amazing difference!
