Some of the most fantastic cities in the world celebrate and love the sophisticated collections of Basler, and now, their collections have graced Somerset Collection in our very own city of Troy.  Along with cities like Dubai, Berlin, London and even Paris, we now can enjoy and spoil ourselves with the riches of Basler Clothing.

The press release was released on December 5th.  We would like to welcome Basler and wish their new store the best of luck.  The company is both enthusiastic and excited to be apart of our state.   We can only hope more business will continue to open and thrive in Michigan instead of close down.  Fashion is on arise here in Detroit.  It’s nice to know companies and businesses have not forgotten about us as many are still very enthusiastic about what Michigan and it’s great residents have to offer.

Basler Opens New Retail Store in the Somerset Collection in Troy, MI

  New York, NY, Dec. 5, 2009 – Basler America, Inc. today announced the opening of a new branded retail store at the South side of the Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan. The 1.600 square-foot store is the third Basler store opened this year after Tyson´s Galleria, Washington, DC and The Waterside Shops in Naples, FL

  The Somerset Collection is located in the fourth wealthiest county in the US. It is anchored by Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. High-profile specialty store tenants are Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Barneys, St. John, Tiffany and Burberry.

The Basler strategy is geared towards company operated retail spaces going forward. Basler has just taken over 10 locations from Bloomingdales as concessions and is investigating other high-end properties for Basler stores planned to open in 2010 and the years thereafter.
