Livonia, Michigan – Lisa Glickoff, the owner and Creative Director of Astute Artistry in Livonia, will be presenting her award winning work and class information for potential students looking for a career in make-up.  On Friday June 25th, 2010,  Astute Artistry will be holding a free open house for the creative artists of Metro Detroit at the Courtyard Detroit Livonia.   Join expert make-up and special effect artists, who have trained with the “only make-up training school”,  in Michigan. 
 
What better time then now to embrace your passion!  Astute Artistry’s Open House will be held at 17200 N Laurel Park Drive at the Courtyard Marriott in  Livonia.  Glickoff and staff will be going over techniques, and class options to help potential students begin an exciting career in make-up.  Detailed information about classes will be discussed, including 1 year financing options.  Many exciting career opportunities will also be presented including information about films and productions.  Glickoff will be showcasing her expertise in make-up with multiple examples and excellent advice.  Glickoff is most notably known for her make-up work at the 2006 Oscars on multiple celebrity clients.
 
Lisa Glickoff is also an advocate for cancer and ties part of her business to her own non-profit organization that gives back to victims affected with this disease.  The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute also recognizes Astute Artistry as a community partner.
 
This Open House will bring creative people in Michigan together for an informational night of expert advice, delicious hors d’ouevres, and abundant conversation.  Astute Artistry, where people are empowered through makeup & professional artists are created.
