Teava Skincare Summer giveaway!

Many Mommies like you and I are busy entertaining the kids with outside activities this summer!  We pack the cars, the coolers and the sand toys along with loads of sunscreen for the kids but what we tend to forget is what we need for ourselves.  Most moms lather on the 50 SPF sunscreen on their children two to three times a day and forget to apply it to themselves.  It’s  known that the sun and it’s harmful rays age our skin much quicker than necessary and if we don’t use sunscreen, we are perfect targets for aged, wrinkly skin that is less than attractive and  unhealthy.

By using sunscreen and a daily beauty regimen of facial wash, moisturizer and eye cream, we have the ability to keep our skin looking young and fresh for years to come.  Glamorousmoms.com cares about your skin! That is why we are offering another great Teava Skincare giveaway to keep you looking young and glamorous!

Definatly my eyes the “crows Feet” wrinkles on the sides of my eye..
Mostly what I do is cleans 2x’s a day and have started wearing a daily anti aging moisturizer with SPF. I use it everyday, summer thru winter.
Also sunglasses are a must..for the wrinkles in between my eyebrows when squinting…

  2. I have noticed dark spots on my skin over the years from sun damage. I never leave the house without at least 15 SPF on my face, and I always wear sunglasses.

I’ve noticed 2 small sun spots one right above my eye brow and the other on top of my hand and what I do is put lot’s of mosturizer and spf on my face I wear sun glasses and a hat to protect it from the sun I do however enjoy the sun I just protect my skin better I also have a 13 year old that I protect extremly well seeing what to much sun can do at an early age to that tender skin and about some of the wrinkles on my face well I’ll never be sad about my laugh lines I had great fun developing them just a little less over exposure to the sun and elements and a protective skin care plan and good cleansing habits is a must at any age we are never to young to start this plan…..,…

I have noticed ‘crows feet” around my eyes and now wear an eye cream daily. Also, I don’t spend hours and hours in the sun the way I did in my early teens and twenty’s!!

I have inherited deep set eyes with dark circles, which are exacerbated by allergies. I have noticed that the dark circles and lines around my eyes have gotten worse as I’ve aged. I try to combat this by wearing a foundation with an SPF every day to help even out my skin tone. In addition, I always wear a concealer around my eyes to help lighten the area. It helps to have products that work double duty (e.g., moisturizer + SPF, etc.), as I am a busy working mother.

My Hawaiian Tropic days with zero UV protection are over! Being a sun lover, it has been hard for me to accept the fact that I should apply sun block. At 35, I have noticed a few sun spots as well as uneven areas on my face where I used to peel. I now use a daily moisturizer with at least 15 SPF, eye cream with SPF, and I apply 30 SPF sunscreen to my face.

I have fine lines and wrinkles starting. I have found eating healthy foods and staying hydrated help alot! Moisturizer and exfoliation are key as well. Good luck moms!

I go for an annual skin check every year, however this year was different. What I thought were sun spots were actually basal cell carcinoma. I am now more cautious when going out in the sun. I apply a moisturizing cream every morning that has spf 15 in it followed by my make up with spf as well. I am now more focused on my skin and the effects that aging and the sun have on it. Proper cleansing at night and night moisturizer is a must. I am approaching 35 and I want my skin to make me appear younger, not older.

My face is showing signs of damage from my early days of sunworshipping… I have fine lines and am starting to see sun spots on my jawline. I have been using eye cream since my 20s so my crows feet are pretty minimal considering my age. I exfoliate my face daily and use moisturizer with SPF 15 and a light foundation with SPF 30 all year round. I wear sunglasses even when its not sunny! I also wear a hat or visor when I am going to be out in the sun for long periods.

Most important Moms is to teach our kids good skin care habits! My light eyed children are always squinting so I have made sure they all have sunglasses and fun hats to wear this summer. Since they are swimmers too… they are in the sun more than the norm. I make sure they each have a bottle of sunscreen in their bags… we even have sunscreen for their blonde hair!

  11. I try my best to take care of my skin! I wear SPF moisturizer and face makeup with SPF in it everyday! I am a 33 year single mother of 3 and skincare is essential, but time and finances take a toll on that area of my life (especially now that I have to enter the dating world – again!) haha :) I wear Rx Retin-A on my face every other night, with deep moisturizer rotating the nights I don’t wear the Rx. I have already begun to see slight lines in my forhead (is it lines of doubt??!! hehe).. and fine lines under my eyes. I had acne growing up as a teenager and have some pitted areas on my temples (which I now cover up with my haircut) and some reddish scars around my mouth and chin area (which I despise!!). I continue to use my regiments.. but only time will tell!! Right?? :)

I grew up in Corpus Christi baking in the sun for hours on end… Then when I wasn’t in the sun I was in the tanning bed…….I know crazy right. So, unfortunatley I never listen to anyone when they would say you need to wear sun block. Your gonna regret it later. I would use baby oil with no spf with iodine to kinda stain the skin as well…Well, I’m 40 and the damage is done… I am starting to see the signs. I have crows feet and I have 2 or 3 sun spots…that are visible to the eye. I did a sun damage test thing under the black light and there is a lot more that the naked eye can’t see…..I was told but, I didn’t listen. So, now there is no turning back .I can only try to prevent more damage by no more tanning beds. I still enjoy the beach but, I wear spf and a hat. I wash my face each night then moisturize… I exfoliate 2 or 3 times a week.. I have tried those fade creams and they haven’t done much. So, now I have a daughter and I try to be a good roll model and take care of my skin and teach her to do the same.
