Cynthia LaMaide visits Ann Arbor Art Fair

Michigan based artist and designer, Cynthia LaMaide will be visiting the Guild Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair this weekend.  Most like to call Cynthia’s designs works of art.  We like to call them masterpieces.  Cynthia specializes in women ‘s clothing like no other designer.  She weaves, knits, hand paints, and sews her garments  into beautiful silhouettes.  Her garments are original and romantic leaving every woman who wears them feeling feminine to say the least. 

Cynthia has created movie costumes and has worked as a fashion stylist for music videos and photo shoots in New York, Miami and also right here in Detroit!  Cynthia has also just recently  been invited to exhibit her garments in the Simsthonian Art to Wear show in Washington D.C. this October. Only 35 fiber artists have been chosen to participate in this exclusive event.

Cynthia will be at her State Street booth #106, Wednesday, July 21st through Saturday, July 24th, 2010 during the Guild Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair.  Booth hours are  Wednesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
