Lanalia Shoes

Last week, Hollywood shoe designer, Mariya Palanjian, visited Katerina Bocci’s Fashion Studio in Shelby Township.  Mariya, a Glamorous Mom herself, has three children she says, one age 3 1/2 yrs old, the second 4 1/2 yrs old and the third, Lanalia Shoes, a custom made shoe line handmade right here in the United States.

Lanalia Shoes is based in Los Angeles, California and has a great relationship with local dress designer Katerina Bocci and her special clients. It’s important to wear the perfect pair of shoes when wearing one of Katerina’s handmade evening and bridal gowns.  That’s where Mariya comes in.  When we met this lovely mommy, she explained her shoes are handmade right here in the United States and are not sent out to other countries to manufacture.  Her shoes are feminine, and sexy not to mention comfortable even for the widest of feet.  They are designed with luxury and elegance on the outside and a specific scientific cushion on the inside to make every step smooth and comfortable.  The cushion used is called Poron, which is a NASA created high density cushioning with arch support.  Poron acts like a memory foam which only loses 5% it’s memory after five years.  What this means is, these shoes can be worn again and again comfortably for up to five years before the cushion starts to wear in.

Lanalia shoes are custom made to fit each customer.  Heel sizes range from 3 1/2, 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 inches and wedges range from 2 1/2, 3 inches to 4 inches.  Thongs and flats are also available.  Lanalia Shoes is partnered with Swarovski and several of their designs are accented with Swarovski crystals.
