Cynthia LaMaide brings designs to Style Sunday

This past Sunday, the very talented Cynthia LaMaide showed her whimsical designs on the runway during Style Sunday at the Buy Michigan Now Festival downtown Northville.  Cynthia’s known for her styling and costume designing for photo shoots, music videos and films. She is a local Detroit designer that has surely taken the lead in the fashion mayhem of Detroit.  Cynthia creates romantic pieces that are all handmade, whether weaved, knitted, hand painted or, all of the above.   There is nothing out there like a Cynthia LaMaide design.

Her show at the Buy Michigan Now Festival was breathtaking as her eclectic creations were viewed and loved by everyone at the show.  Each dress was unique and creative.  It was as if each design was shaped and molded for each individual model. Perfection describes her creations as each piece of fabric is carefully sewn to the next creating a mix of  designs and patterns to suit every occasion.
