Arts Beats & Eats
Royal Oak is hosting Ford’s Arts, Beats & Eats this year which will feature hundreds of local performers, food from several of Detroit’s local restaurants and an art show.
Being such a trendy and fun spot on Michigan’s map, Royal Oak is the perfect place to hold this years event. Metro Detroiters know when they visit the city of Royal Oak on a regualr day, one can easily enjoy a unique cultural experience in atmosphere, shopping, food and entertainment. This year attendees can enjoy the city as well as the many talents brought in for this special occasion.
Over 500 performers applied for the event and 200 were selected to entertain the crowd. Headliners such as Macy Gray, Clint Black & Saving Abel will also be singing this year along with local entertainers including our fav’s, The Mydols and the Killer Flamingos!
Usually the selection of food is always a fan favorite at the annual Arts, Beats and Eats and this years line up is sure to make your stomach growl! Guests have 53 restaurants to choose from including D’amatos, California Pizza Kitchen, The Melting Pot, Cafe Habana and last but not least, our most recent obsession, What Crepe.
After listening to some good tunes and eating from Detroit’s best eateries, visitors will be able to shop and enjoy the art fair. Whether it’s ceramics, leather, graphics, glass, photography or fabric and fiber, downtown Royal Oak will have it all displayed for you.
Arts, Beats & Eats will run Friday September 3, to Monday September 5, 2010. Admission to the event is just $3.
