Project Runway co-host and Chief Creative Officer of Liz Claiborne Inc., Tim Gunn will make his way to Michigan this coming weekend. On Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., Tim Gunn will host a Fall fashion show at Somerset Collection in Troy with a focus on teaching women how to make their wardrobe work.
Gunn, author of ‘Gunn’s Golden Rules: Life’s Little Lessons for Making it Work’, has experience in lecturing on fashion and lifestyle design and is an honorary chair of fashion design at Parsons: the New School for Design where he started his career in 1983 as assistant director of admissions and then soon became Associate Dean of the school.
Gunn is well known for his stylish expertise and brings both fun and humor to the runway. At this Saturdays, Fall 2010 fashion show, Gunn will comment on men and women’s looks from Juicy Couture, Monet Jewelry, Kate Spade New York and Lucky Brand Jeans which are all under the Liz Claiborne portfolio of brands.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Gunn’s natural charm and learn tips on style, including Fall trends and the proper fit of trend forward fashions. Guests can also meet and greet the reality TV star and get their picture taken with him on the runway when showing proof of purchase of $150 or more before November, 6, 2010 at Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans or Kate Spade retail stores or Monet Jewelry purchases at Tapper’s (Somerset location only) . Guests must show receipt in order to get a picture taken and to receive a gift bag filled with new scents from Kate Spade New York & Juicy Couture, Monet Jewelry bangle bracelets, a Lucky Jeans key chain and the graphic novel, Models, Inc.
Seats are on a first come first serve basis. The show will be at Somerset Collection, in the North Grand Court at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday November 6, 2010. Somerset Collection is located at 2800 W. Big Beaver Rd. Troy, Mi.
