It’s time for the third annual Lucido Diamond Dash Scavenger Hunt! The hunt will take place on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m at Campus Martius downtown Detroit. Participants are invited to compete to win a diamond ring that will be safely hidden somewhere within the city. Lucido Fine Jewelry has teamed up with SCVNGR, a google backed company that uses location based mobile gaming technology that sends clues and hints to the scavenger hunt participants on their phones during a real time scavenger hunt.
The prize this year is a “Hearts on Fire” diamond ring worth $20,000. Participants must be in a team of two and be eager to rely on the clues given and the knowledge of the city. Diamond Dash has brought over 1,000 people in the past so participants can expect to have some heavy competition this year.
Immediately following the scavenger hunt, an after party will take place at Campus Martius. Lunch will be provided to all participants and the winner will be announced by Detroit radio show Mojo in the Morning.
Lucido fine jewelry has two locations, one located in Rochester, Mi and one located in Sterling Heights. Mi. The “Hearts on Fire” ring will be on display at the Sterling Heights location located at 42825 Scheonherr Rd, and online, to give participants a visual of their hopeful prize. If interested in participating, couples must send their love story to lucidodiamonddash.com.
This event not only supports and celebrates the city of Detroit, but it also supports Angels of Hope, a family cancer non-profit organization. Donations from this event will benefit Angels of Hope.
Please note – We cannot promise the ring pictured above is the actual ring participants will be competing for during the Lucido Fine Jewelry Diamond Dash . Please visit the Sterling Heights Lucido Jewelery store to view the actual ring.
