How to rock a pencil skirt

It’s interesting how many women are afraid to rock a pencil skirt. Some may have reservations about their curvaceous hips and I found others have reservations about their skinny legs.  I know we all have our hang ups when it comes to our own bodies but pencil skirts are great for women of all shapes and sizes.

For the women who have va va voom curves, use the pencil skirt to play up those curves! There’s nothing more sexy and sultry than the way a woman walks in a pencil skirt.  Just ask your man, he’ll tell you!  Pencil skirts hug the body in all the right places.  The tapered look will never go out of style and will always remain timeless. For those of you who have reservations about your thinness, a pencil skirt will help you feel more curvaceous when you want to.  Because the pencil skirt hugs your natural curves including your hips and derriere and then tapers around the knees, your body will look more voluptous,  naturally,  all because of the shape of the garment.  For all body types, the pencil skirt is very flattering and is a huge trend this season. I highly recommend you give it a try.

Below, is a list of ways you can rock a pencil skirt like a true diva. Remember,  if you’re not having fun with it, you’re over thinking it!

Rock that pencil skirt with:

  • …a casual fitted tee and a chunky necklace or two….
  • …a traditional white button down, tucked in worn with a few of your favorite pearl necklaces
  • …a thick belt at the waist with any top of your choice
  • …a casual tank & sexy strappy heels with an oversize clutch
  • …a silk blouse & button earrings
  • …a fitted blazer for those, “I am a business woman” days!
