Whitney Houston; an American Icon

This past weekend we lost an American icon. Whitney Houston, age 48, past away Saturday, February 11, 2012 in her fourth floor hotel room at the Beverly Hilton in California.  Many rumors have been shared among fans, bloggers and reporters on the cause of her death but autopsy reports have not been released just yet.

In the 1980’s, Whitney Houston became America’s sweetheart  with her angelic voice.  She had an incredible talent of having the ability to take her voice places noone else will ever be able to visit with their own. She wow’ed the world with “Saving All My Love For You” and “I Will Always Love You” and won multiple Grammys including record and album of the year.

Aside from the angelic voice and natural beauty, Houston was also a mom.  On March 4, 1993,  Glamorous Mom Whitney Houston gave birth to her first and only daughter Bobby Kristina Houston Brown. May her daughter and family find peace during this sad and tragic time. We must remember, a mother lost a daughter and a daughter has lost her mother.
