Can you believe another year has passed since Habitat for Humanity’s Red Carpet Bash? Well if you missed the event last year, here’s your chance to attend this year! This year we are giving away limo transportation from the Max to Birmingham and back, 2 tickets to the Red Carpet Bash, cocktail reception at Todd’s Room in Birmingham AND a FREE makeup application.
When is the event? So glad you asked. Habitat for Humanity will be hosting their annual Red Carpet Bash, Sunday February 24, 2013. The event will be held at the Max M. Fisher Music Center downtown Detroit. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening celebrating the stars of Habitat for Humanity Detroit before watching a live broadcast of the 2013 Oscars® from the luxury of Orchestra Hall.
There will be a red carpet entrance and welcome reception starting at 6:00 pm. The evening will then continue with a strolling dinner by Forte Belanger and the program to follow. Guests attending will be dressed in their red carpet best as they celebrate the many stars of Detroit.

One way that I can give back to Habitat for Humanity is by donating office supplies. I get those free or super cheap with coupons every year! It’s an easy way to help out.

Habitat for Humanity Detroit offers many sponsorship opportunities. They are always looking for partners to sponsor a Habitat for Humanity home, or a Habitat Detroit event.

A person can give their time, make a monetary donation and/or they can donate resources (items from their home they are no longer using) to Habitat for Humanity. How many of us have unfinished projects or old furniture lying around the basement? I know I do. A person could also could call their local Habitat for Humanity and ask what project they are working on and what they could provide. I think the best item to give would be a gift card to Home Depot!

There are many ways that a person can support Habitat for Humanity. They can put in Physical labor hours or they can donate items that are no longer being used.
