Somerset Collection’s North Grand Court will be in full bloom, March 12th through March 26th, to host a Easter Bunny visit in a lush spring garden. Children visiting the Easter Bunny will have a fun-filled experience, getting their picture taken, visiting a special Jelly Bean bar, receiving a special gift bag and will be invited to toss coins into the fountain for charity.
When kids visit the Easter Bunny in the North Grand Court gardens to have their picture taken, they will receive an Easter tote bag with five colorful eggs, each with coins that represent a dollar being donated to the Children’s Hospital of Michigan – Troy. After visiting the Bunny, kids are encouraged to throw the coins in the North Grand Court fountain. With each coin representing $1, Somerset Collection will donate to the hospital the total number of coins collected at the end of the season. Last year, $5,000 was raised towards charity from the coins.
Kids can then take the eggs to five stores at Somerset Collection to collect special complimentary Easter treats. Participating stores include GAP, Lilly Pulitzer, Williams-Sonoma Grande Cuisine, Vera Bradley and Marbles The Brain Store. They also will get a small plastic bag to take with them to the jelly bean bar in the gardens, where they can fill it with a variety of flavored jelly beans from the Sweet Factory.
Visits and photos with the Easter Bunny are available during Somerset Collection North hours, Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
The Somerset Collection is located on the corner of Big Beaver Road and Coolidge in Troy. Their address is 2800 W. Big Beaver Rd.
