A Day of Reflection In a Little Black Dress

Beautiful service at Kensington Church and a beautiful brunch at Chapman House to follow.

On a day of reflection, Sunday, I always wear my Sunday best to church. We recently made a change in our Sunday habits and for the last year, we have been faithfully going to Kensington Church. We still belong to our Catholic church, and I want to point out we haven’t given up on our Catholic community where we used to call home for school and worship. I merely want to keep God and his words and the experience of religion fun and fresh in my children’s minds. Dave Wilson’s light and presence is contagious and Kensington is a relaxed atmosphere with live music and a vibrance I just cannot explain. The entire family loves it. It’s been a fun experience and I can too say I’m hooked!

Every Sunday after church, The Chapman House in Rochester is my go to place for brunch. Taken at the Chapman House, during Labor Day weekend, in the photo above you’ll see me wearing a classic LBD that was simple, easy and perfect for a day of reflection and love.
